Ronnye primarily works with young couples who are interested in premarital counseling. He also works with families who are experiencing turbulence in their relationships due to anger, depression, grief, stress, and/or trauma. He has personal knowledge of blending two families together. He is passionate about strengthening the family unit, in which he uses effective communication techniques and have mastered finding relationship strengths. He also helps families find balance in an ever increasing hectic society.
Ronnye has been trained to work with diverse populations and practices cultural sensitivity. He is also trained in providing premarital and marital assessments using the prepare/enrich assessment tool. PREPARE/ENRICH is the leading relationship inventory and skill-building program used nationally and internationally.
Ronnye has been in the behavioral health field for over 10 years. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Christian counseling in 2016, and is currently working toward Oklahoma state licensure. Before beginning with Life Connection Counseling, Ronnye was an intern at Creoks Behavioral Health out of the Tulsa office. He served individuals who experienced, ADHD/ADD, authority defiance, anxiety, bipolar, break-ups, phobias, PTSD, and many family issues. Ronnye has been newly married for 2 years to a wonderful Christian woman. This blended family experience has given birth to his passion of what he calls “Premarital counseling”. He believes that no matter what happened in the past, you can have a hope for the future.
