Lauren Clutter, LMFT/C

Lauren Clutter

Lauren primarily works with adolescent/young adult women struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and various difficulties resulting from traumatic events. It is her passion to provide each client with the necessary resources to reach his or her goals, using supported therapeutic methods. It is her desire to work along with the client towards achieving the clients desired goals for therapy.

Lauren is trained in providing EMDR therapy. EMDR enables individuals to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. While EMDR was created to treat PTSD, it has been found to be extremely effective for day-to-day issues as well.

Lauren graduated with a Master’s degree in counseling in 2015, and is currently working toward Oklahoma state licensure. Before beginning with Life Connection Counseling, Lauren served as an intern for a year with Sanctuary Counseling Center working with couples, and individuals struggling with various issues such as marital conflict, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, and depression. Lauren also spent 5 years working with local youth as a youth minster alongside her husband for a church in Tulsa. She has been married to her husband Daniel for 5 years now, and is passionate about spending time with her children and developing a positive family life.
